Next Steps

My next steps to get me closer to my path of game design is working hard in school. I want to achieve a 4.0 GPA or Higher along with a 1090 SAT score or higher to make my college application competitive. I also plan on working to get a scholarship or a full ride to my colleges of interest. The college that I plan on attending would be The University Of Utah. It seems like a great college for game design as it is the number #3 ranked school for game design nationwide. I believe I have the skillset to meet the standards and requirements of attending The University of Utah. Also, I am very interested of going to an out of state for college because it intrigues me to exploring a new city and being more independant. For a in-state college I plan on going to DePaul University. It seems like a great college for game design and it is located in downtown Chicago so it is very close to me. I also believe I have the skills to meet the requirements and standards fo attending DePaul University. Next, I will continue improving on my coding skills with CodeNation to not only make my application for college and game design stronger, but also be more familiar with coding games with experience in coding. Lastly, With the Alienware Aurora R12 gaming desktop, I plan on using it for learning how to coe and develop gaming using game design software and also learn how to create other things like game models and graphics for creating video games. With this new knowledge of designing games I want to create a video game myself. A few ideas I have for a video game would be a sandbox game where you can do anything and mess around for fun or a multiplayer first person shooter or an Rpg. I am very excited for my future and the path I will take.
